02/10/2026

Today, in Piazza della Motta, the two ATAP buses branded “Pordenone Italian Capital of Culture 2027” were officially unveiled at an event open to the public. The buses feature a new graphic design created specifically for the Capital of Culture project.
The two coaches will travel along roads across Italy and Europe for excursions, gatherings and events, bringing the Pordenone 2027 brand well beyond the borders of the region. This is a tangible way of supporting and strengthening the promotional journey towards 2027.
The inauguration was attended by Luca Ciriani, Minister for Parliamentary Relations; Andrea Cabibbo, Regional Councillor of Friuli Venezia Giulia; Alberto Parigi, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Pordenone; Lidia Diomede, Councillor for Mobility, Transport and Roads of the Municipality of Pordenone; and Luca Romanin, President of ATAP.
Pordenone-based transport company ATAP has chosen to support Pordenone on its journey towards 2027, the year in which the city will become Italian Capital of Culture. This recognition represents an important opportunity to showcase the identity, creativity and potential of our province.
In this context, the initiative forms part of a broader promotional strategy for the city, with a particular focus on its tourism potential. 2027 is an opportunity to raise awareness of Pordenone and present it as a starting point for discovering a rich and diverse area that is always capable of surprising visitors.
